Plenty widgets and Live Activity

Plenty puts your grocery list on the Home Screen and the Lock Screen. The medium Home Screen widget lists the next items and lets you tick them off without opening the app. During a shopping trip, a Live Activity shows how many items are left, on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island.

What does the Live Activity show?

When you switch a list to Shopping mode, Plenty shows a Shopping trip Live Activity. On the Lock Screen it shows the list name, the time since you started and the number of items left; the Dynamic Island shows how many are left. When you tick off the last item, it briefly shows how many items you bought. Finishing the trip ends it.

Can you add items from outside the app?

On iOS 18 or later, the Add items control in Control Center opens Plenty straight into the add screen, where you type, dictate or scan. Siri can also add an item; see adding by voice.

Only the medium Home Screen widget has tick-off buttons. The Live Activity is for reading; you tick items off in the app, the widget or on Apple Watch.
