Plenty recipe update
Plenty recipe importing was checked against version 1.8.2 on 5 October 2026. The other app sources retain their original review dates. Save a recipe. Shop its ingredients.
How did we compare the two apps?
Both apps were compared on the same nine points: voice, barcode scanning, the shared list, Apple Watch, loyalty cards, budget and receipts, aisle order, widgets, and languages and devices.
Every Bring! fact comes from Bring!'s own features page, help centre, privacy policy or App Store listings. A feature that is not mentioned there is marked “not listed on their site”, which does not prove it is missing. Checked on 25 September 2026; we will check again before 25 March 2027, so after that date confirm with the source.

Where is Bring! better?
- Recipes. Bring! offers seasonal recipe ideas every week, saves recipes from the web and adds the ingredients to your list2. Plenty also saves imported recipes and adds their ingredients to a shopping list; it does not offer a seasonal recipe discovery feed.
- Brochures and offers. Bring! lets you browse digital brochures from retailers7. Plenty shows no offers.
- Mixed-phone households. Bring! is also available for Android9 and in a web browser10. Someone without an iPhone or iPad cannot join a Plenty household.
- Alexa. Bring! works with Alexa1; Plenty works with Siri only.
Where is Plenty different?
- Plenty keeps a monthly grocery budget: scan the receipt or type the total and see what is left, by shop and by category.
- You can put a product on the list by scanning its barcode.
- Plenty learns your aisle order from the order in which you tick items off.
- A Home Screen widget to tick items off, and a Live Activity during the shop.
Who should choose which?
Choose Bring! if you want seasonal recipe ideas, like browsing brochures, or share the list with someone who uses Android.
Choose Plenty if everyone at home uses an iPhone and you want the list, the loyalty cards and this month's grocery spending in one place.
