A grocery list in the order you walk the shop

Plenty groups items by category and puts the categories in the order you walk through your supermarket. You can drag a list's categories into place yourself, or let Plenty learn the order: after about three trips it uses the order in which you ticked items off. It also suggests staples you buy on a regular rhythm.

Store order: drag categories into the order you walk.

How do you set the aisle order?

Open a list and tap the button with two arrows to open Store order. Drag the categories, such as Produce, Bakery, Dairy, Meat & Seafood and Frozen, into the order you meet them. That list keeps your order, and on a shared list it applies to everyone.

If you would rather not set it up, just shop. Each time you finish a trip, Plenty notes which categories you ticked off first. Once it has seen about three trips, lists you have not arranged by hand follow the learned order, which is shared across your household. Reset aisle order takes a list back to the learned order.

How do restock suggestions work?

Plenty remembers when you buy each item. For things you buy at a steady rhythm, such as coffee every two weeks, it works out when the next purchase is due. Those items appear under Time to restock in Add items, marked Running low or Overdue, so adding them is one tap.

What aisle order does not do

Plenty does not use retailers' floor plans; the order comes from you or from your own trips. Restock suggestions come from your purchase history; Plenty does not keep a pantry inventory of what is in your cupboards.

Questions

Does everyone in the household get the same order?

Yes, per list: an order set on a shared list applies to everyone who uses that list, and the learned order is shared across the household.
